Secret to success

I often get stopped when driving my Lamborghini and asked what is the secret to being successful?

I easily answer YOU.

You and you only hold the key to your success; you are the only driver of your life and the sole person responsible for the effects of your decisions. It's certain that people might influence, help or attempt to drive your own decisions but ultimately you and you only are usually faced with the consequences.

When looking back at my last 10 years in business, I'll say that one certain action permitted me to become considered successful by most today and this is my capability to make the precise decisions, decisions that will bring value to my life and are not driven or influenced by other people. These choices might be as tiny as selecting which bash to attend in High School or as big as joining your business, but ultimately still hold an extremely large effect on your life. Decision making plays a vital role in long term success

Knowing the responses in your actions at any given time and not lying to yourself would be the key signs that you do indeed take control of your outcomes and so you could determine ahead of time the amount of success you would like to achieve. You are then able to set an idea, drive outcomes through the decisions and choices you create every day and limit your setbacks because of your thought process.

Let's make use of this simple illustration that we can probably all relate with: Can you notice that every once in awhile, every one of us catch a break and have some cash coming from somewhere that we simply were not planning on but yet still somehow are not able to save it, because some random expenses or something comes up the moment we hear we getting this money, and therefore end up with absolutely nothing more than what we had just before hearing about this change. The idea here is very basic, we hear we are getting a break and therefore choose to let our guard down which leads to a mistake that costs us, and so takes away what we hadn't earned yet, placing us back at where we started.

By making such a small slip-up, we simply set ourselves back again by keeping ourselves from growing. This tendency that we all to take these things for granted keeps us down, while the surroundings advance, we remain constant in one place, seeing people pass us and have a greater level of success.

I'll leave you with some food for thought: if the world is expanding at a constant pace, then you need to grow faster to keep getting in advance however , if you will find tiny ways to limit your own mistakes, then you develop at a faster pace, seeing and knowing the system that the world operates on and staying ahead of the opportunities which present themselves is the true key you have to learn and deliver on every single day. This is real secret to success.
